Raf is proving to be one of my favorite rides in the barn. There is never a boring day with this great girl. She's always game for a good gallop or flatwork, even super out on trails. We have had less than spectacular weather, but rain, snow or sunshine, she's ready to go to work!!!

Here is some video from today......

January 16th we welcomed Jolies "half sister" (same sire, so not really half) to our farm for some retraining. She is a 2001 OTTB Stakes Placed mare, standing at 16.2. She is a little older than I like to take on, but I thought I would give her a try, as she was a relative to my Jojo and has an athletic attitude that I'm sure will take her far.

We have put some time on her and she is proving to be a quick study and a load of fun to ride. She definitely has a future in eventing with her great movement, athletic ability and sturdy build.

She was tried by a junior rider today that did a phenomenal job. Flashy and agreeable, a little bit spunky but also safe it went really well...It's a big "maybe" for her, but I am excited for the ground to thaw so I can drag some fences out and get her going with her jumping.

Here are some photos and videos!
