Jolie as she is affectionately known as, is owned and trained by Kait Schultz. Although not an OTTB, she is still 110% Thoroughbred and bred to race. She did not even make it to training as she was just "too small." Attempts to sell her did not work, so the owner simply said "get rid of her." My boss at Keane Stud added her to the long list of free horses available and (despite parental disagreement) I jumped on the opportunity to have her. It's been a long road and one heck of an adventure that you can follow here.
