One of the main goals of our project is to promote TB's and help re-home at least our two....here you can find more - start your own re-homing project, help with another, donate to a rescue...if we like 'em, we'll post 'em (this list probably will not be all inclusive! So many programs out there!)
Retired Racehorse Training Project - it's us on a much larger scale!!

Finger Lakes Finest - a trainer listing so you can get the freshies! A great resource during the season, really good at the very end (lots of free ones usually available)

Finger Lakes TB Adoption Program - located adjacent to the Finger Lakes track, this is an adoption program that some trainers use. It's a wonderful facility that really gives OTTBs a great start if you are worried about really starting from scratch. Also you can volunteer any day, any time so I have been told!

CANTER - Another adoption program and trainer listings all over the USA. I am not too sure how this one works, I know you can donate or buy cool things (I got a great jacket from them at a very decent "donation" price! ) and part of the purchase goes to the rescue. LOTS of horses available, almost overwhelming but shows how important it is to buy American, buy an OTTB!!

After the Finish Line - A nationally recognized 501(c)(3) funding non-profit for Thoroughbred racehorses that are transitioned off the racetrack into a second career. The donations here go to support Thoroughbreds at rescue organizations across the US while they await adoption. Basically, they ensure that all of these horses that come off the track are well taken care of.http://www.afterthefinishline.org/
